Harvest Red is produced from 50% Margaret River cabernet sauvignon
40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet France.

two vintages are the same, similar yes, but the same
-never.
This
wine was made using wine from three different vintages, 2004 and
2005. Non-vintage table wines are rarely made although it is a much
more common practice for Australian sparkling wines and of course
Champagne. By blending across more than one vintage allows
the wine maker to combine the soft aged characters of the earlier
vintage with the vibrancy of the more youthful wine to produce a
wine which is as once approachable, complex and
satisfying.
Wine
Makers Notes:
The
grapes were picked cool, crushed and fermentation was initiated on
skins. The wine was separated from skins when the desired
level of colour had been imparted.
Fermentation
was completed at an average temperature of 20 degrees. The
yeast used with this wine is temperature sensitive enabling us to
stop the fermentation, with cooling, to retain the desired level of
natural grape sugars.

Bouquet:
Blackberry with a touch of fresh green herbs.
Palate:
Medium bodied, sweet blackberry fruit. This is a soft, sweet,
very tempting wine, made to have immediate drinking appeal. Serve
chilled.
